It's wonderful to have these.

It would be even more wonderful if the disambiguation notices (or a link to them) were obvious on the "Proposed Tag Combinations" page, because if you're doing your combining from there, you'd have no idea they even exist.

>2 timspalding: Not to hijack the topic, but I was about to propose something related. I think it would be useful to see past (failed) proposals on the "Proposed Tag Combinations" page as well. Or maybe a link to a history page showing all the successful and failed proposals related to the tag?

This would be useful to check on the fate of a recent proposal or could indicate that there is some not immediately obvious blocker to combining. lilithcat's proposal might be the superior one, although there must be a lot of tags that had a handful of failed proposals throughout the years and haven't got a disambiguation notice yet.
