Is there a site on Library Thing or Wiki Thing where you can enter the subject, possible names of a book or keywords, and the range of years in which it may have been published to find a list of suggestions? I'm looking for an old high school Spanish textbook published back around 1960. I've already inquired about it under "Name That Book," but I'm wondering if I can do an actual advanced search myself? Thank you!

You may be able to do something like this with Google Books. It allows you to restrict your search by publication date; I don't know whether it lets you specifically search title or not, since it's mostly a full-text search. There's certainly no internal facility to do this sort of thing here.

>2 lorax: is right. We don't have that kind of faceting across the site (especially since site search focuses on works, and not individual books, where works can have multiple publication dates). You can do this kind of search within your own catalog (and it's even easier if you're using TinyCat), but not on the whole site.

I think abebooks.com might be the best tool for this. Their advanced search options include publication date range and keywords.

Worldcat could probably help with something like this; it also has pretty robust filters.
