A friend who was visiting The Last Bookstore in Los Angeles last week asked me if I wanted this copy of Conjure Wife. Of course I did! The inscription alone makes this a special one.

No idea at this point, although I don't think he would sign it "Fritzie" to someone he didn't know fairly well. Can't say for certain, but the inscription seems to be as old as the book.

That is fabulous. Did your friend realise it was inscribed or just figured an old hardback was compelling enough?
