Make List of Works sortable alphabetically

When you visit an Author's page, you get the (or part of the) list of works - for instance, https://www.librarything.com/author/hemmerechtskristien . These works are sorted by the number of copies in the LT database. That's nice, and it should be preserved in times to come. But sadly, I have no idea how many copies "Work X" by Author Y are in LT. In a list of several hundreds of works, that's a bit difficult to maneuver. So, why not make it possible to sort the books simply (well, nothing is ever simply in computing and programming, but still) alphabetically? A button on the top bar (with "Works by XXX") would be a nice addition. There will obviously be difficulties - non-roman scripts, numbers, variant titles... - but in 98 percent of the cases such an alphabetic sorting option would make sense. Or is that option already present, somewhere?
I agree. (If you go to the author's combine/separate page you do get them in alphabetical order. But that's not quite the same).
There's no reason not to offer it, to be sure.
I don't think it would be as useful as you might expect - omnibuses, short stories, and just plain bad data (not combinable things, just stuff like "Books 1-3 of the XYZ series") will mean that what most people are looking for most of the time - the novels - are scattered around in that list of hundreds of works. But it would make a particular title easier to spot in the list, to be sure (though if I'm doing that I'm just going to search in the page using my browser's search functionality).
If you go to Rating statistics in the left sidebar, you get a table of the author's works (sorted by default by the number of ratings each work has received). You can then sort the table by any of its columns, including title.
