I read this book in middle school so around 2012/13 ish. I remember lending it to a friend so I never got it back but many details of the book are still fresh in my mind. There was a main character girl that had a darker complexion where everyone would comment about her always having a tan. She lost her old best friend who went to a Catholic school/private school with uniforms. Then a bad girl from NY (I think her name was Em or Emily) entered the picture and became her best friend and the main character wanted to be cool and liked by her crush named George (I think they referred to him as gorgeous George). George ended up liking the NY girl more and they kissed which made main girl sad. I remember at the very end of the book the two accidentally poisoned some other girl from their class by playing the game where they would mix up stuff and eat it and they ended up putting in lemon wood cleaner or something like that. The cover was a drawing of two girls in class passing notes where one girl in a black leather jacket or something was passing a note (that contained the title of the book) to the main girl who was wearing a pink sweater. Thanks!
