Science fiction book about genetically engineered sets of twins who have "Powers". Each set is male/female. The book opens with a single baby who is malformed but has tricked the mother into thinking he is perfect and she is able to nurse him; this is part of his power. He is the only one without a twin. All other twins are separated at birth but are drawn to each as kids/teens. Towards the end of the book, as the kids are trying to escape the scientists who created the/ are now chasing them, one kid uses their power to make a glass wall disappear, then reappear to cut someone who is chasing them in half.
