I read this book years ago, at least like 3-4, and it was a sort of Jekyll and Hyde type of book. This girl's body gets taken over by this different personality, I'm pretty sure this personality was her twin sister that wasn't born and lingered in the depth of her mind. Throughout the book, there have been scenarios where the evil twin/evil personality came out and made the girl's body do bad things. For example, the evil twin almost pushed the girl's crush off a hot air balloon. The evil personality also almost killed this one character because she was planning to make her car crash, (the evil personality did not succeed because she was talking out loud and the person heard and their grip on the wheel tightened so that the evil personality would not be able to cause a car crash.) Also, while I can't remember much, at the beginning, I'm pretty sure that the reason the evil personality woke up was because of this perfume from a mysterious store in the mall*. Around the end of the book, the original inhabitant of the body, the girl, talks about her experience with her teacher. (I believe it was her history teacher, but I'm not sure.)

*GIRL WANTED TO GO TO SEARS, HER FRIENDS SAID THAT SEARS WAS BORING SO THEY INSTEAD TOOK HER TO THIS OTHER STORE THAT COOL THAT HAD PERFUME THAT MAKES MADE THE PERSONALITY COME OUT. THERE ALSO MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOME KIND OF CONSPIRACY-TYPE THING WHERE EVERYONE HAS A TWIN IN THEIR MIND AND THE PERFUME MAKES THE PERSONALITY COME OUT.
