Problem:
Currently, the only way to add or remove someone from my private watch list is from their user profile, in the Connections box. If the account is no longer active, there is no way to remove them from the private watch list.

Example:
I saw a new account that looked potentially spammy. I added it to my private watch list to check back for further activity (legit or spam). The account eventually added a spam work, which someone noticed. The work and the user were both marked as spam, with the user account becoming suspended. Suspended users don't have a user profile anymore, so I can't remove the account from my private watch list.

Perhaps tools for managing the private watch list over at the Connection News page?

No worries! They did ask you to repost it as a RSI, so it's not as though this is an unwarranted duplicate.
