This book is one that can’t have been written before 2010. It probably would have been around 2013-2016?
I don’t think I actually read the book, but what I remember from the summary is that it was a teenage girl and boy who were texting or emailing each other. They were only friends at that point. The boy had a female best friend who liked him and tried to prevent him from chatting with the other girl.
I’m pretty sure that he was a YouTuber (I think it actually said YouTuber), like a gamer or something. If this is right then he was pretty famous, but the girl he was texting didn’t know that.
They (it said he was, I think) we’re falling in love.
Thank you to anyone who helps!!
UPDATE: The book is called Click to Subscribe by L. M. Augustine. Thanks a bunch to the two who gave suggestions!

Some things I just remembered: the book definitely was told in his point of view. I’m not sure if it was for all of the book, but at least some of the book.
Also I think that either the boy and girl were in very close proximity to each other, like same school, or across the United States (opposite coasts).
