I read this book as a 4th or 5th grader back in 2000 or so. I don't recall any of the title or author. The book itself seemed to be a part of a larger series potentially. From what I can remember, two children are forced to work in their school library as punishment for shenanigans. From there, they some way or another manage to "fall" into the book, "Dracula". This allows them to not only see the events of said book play out directly in front of them, but also participate in said events.

Does this ring a bell to anyone?

My wife found it! The series is "Cracked Classics" and the specific title I remembered was "Trapped in Transylvania: Dracula". lol
