I have made a little mess of http://www.librarything.com/author/hemingeileen and since I do not understand how, and fail to correct it, I'm posting here.

Eileen Heming used a lot of pseudonyms. I tried to add a few more of those, but ended up with one of the pseudonyms becoming the main author name despite being aliased correctly to the real name (previously), and added another pseudonym, separated it into correct identities and aliased it, and for some reason, it attracted a few books with another of the pseudonyms as the author.

Some pseudonyms:

http://www.librarything.com/author/marsheileen
http://www.librarything.com/author/cahilljames-2
http://www.librarything.com/author/marshde

I'll fix it if somebody explains how.

I’m not sure if this is what caused it, but there were some improper combinations.
Seems to be okay now.

Looks better at any rate, but some pseudonyms that were combined with her previously have disappeared. I'll see what happens if I add them back.

ETA: It worked, it seems. Now for some book combining...

Okay, previously, the Eileen Heming page was split, but now the split is gone. Is there another author with the same name? If so, the pseudonyns need to be separated and the page re-split.

>4 lilithcat: I don't see a single book attributed to Eileen Heming on the Author page that isn't by the same author, so I think it was a mistake that she was split before.

Thanks, the reason I separated the pseudonyms is because the page was split. Obviously, if there are multiple authors with the same name, the pseudonyms shouldn't be combined. But as that's not the case, it's okay!
