Matriculating 1985; what I recall:
1. Book of Genesis, I believe the King James Version(?)
2. As I Lay Dying
3. Structure of Scientific Revolutions
4. Republic

I transferred to Lawrence (from Northwestern) in my Sophmore year, so I was sort of out of the loop for Freshman Studies!

The list you link is along the same vein. The list I remember was a list of actually assigned works.
