I've got a copy waiting for me at the library that I can pick up on Monday. Is anybody else reading it?

I finished it last night. It's very well written and drops in nerd-culture references easily. I did not quite catch from the interview that the narrative jumps around to Oscar's relatives to establish the family history, so I was surprised the first time that happened. Downsides: It suffers a bit from Return of the King epilogue(s) syndrome, the last of them is an account of one of Oscar's letters which I can't decide if we are supposed to believe. It would fit the rest of the plot better if Oscar were lying, but the narrator doesn't give any indication that he doesn't believe him. All the same I would recommend at least reading it once.

It's somewhere in my endless TBR as well. I'll get to it eventually.
