We just got back from Borders and I'm doing a Happy Manga Dance!

They were having their buy 4 get 1 free manga sale, which I never do because they're just too expensive to buy 4 at the same time. However, I agonized so long about picking the one I wanted and was so insistent on showing my husband exactly what I was agonizing over that he snuck back and picked up the other five I wanted:

My one manga was Alcohol, Shirt and Kiss

and the ones my husband picked up for me were:

Black Knight Volumes 1, 2 & 3; and
Mugen Spiral Volumes 1 and 2.

As a little bonus he ever picked up Mad Libs: Indiana Jones for me.

:-)

I happened to stop in to the local Barnes & Noble, and in addition to picking up the final volume of Y: The Last Man and a hardcover of The Escapists (by the same writer), I found a few good hardcover titles in the bargain area for $6 each:

Summerland by Michael Chabon
Pontoon by Garrison Keillor
The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana by Umberto Eco
The Areas of My Expertise by John Hodgman
