i wrote a blog post about something i'd like to call "booklust"

curious what others have to say on the subject

how DOES a book's physical shape affect how you feel about it?

Interesting question. Actually, Booking Through Thursday featured a similar topic back in March that drew a huge response.

I don't think the look or feel of a book really has any effect on my ultimate opinion about the book. But certainly its design can have a lot of influence in whether or not I'm attracted to a book in the first place.

I enjoyed your post – and I totally agree about the pleasures of "paper" over "electronic." I know e-books are the way of the future, but I sort of dread it.
