I'm very confident they'll be a great help to the community as it tries to work through this.

Welcome to the project.

There are some good ideas being submitted but discussion seems to have slowed. Having a leadership team established right now is just what is needed to move this project along.

Yeah, I know. I didn't want to start making decisions or even pretend to run it—I wanted to find someone who could do that with more authority than me, a non-librarian programmer :)

Thanks, everyone! We are very excited to be involved in this project and will post our summary/update today. I think the momentum that >3 jamesday24: mentions will increase as some direction and tasks are defined (by all of us, of course!).
