Hello,

I've just started reading Space Captain Smith by Toby Frost. First book in the Chronicles of Isambard Smith series.

I'm enjoying it, and wondered if others have read this. Is it typical of the Steampunk genre?

God Emperor of Didcot the second book in the series is due out soon.

Well, I read Space Captain Smith and quite enjoyed the lighthearted jaunt in space. Others have been more critical, but if you want a light quick read then give it a go.

Still not sure if Captain Smith belongs to the Steampunk genre. There are some elements there. Perhaps others could let me know what they think.
