I can't see anything on the blog widgets page. I'd like some way to automatically update my blog and facebook page with what I'm currently reading as having to update three sites every time I start a new book would soon get very tedious -- it's bad enough doing it with two sites (LT and facebook). 3zzamboniI have been wondering about this as well, I have been playing with the parameters given in the widget but have not found something that works. Also none of the APIs seem to have access to the "currently reading" flag. What I am doing for now is to add the "now reading" tag to such books, then I can create a widget that filters by that tag, and show that on my web site. 5gwerninyes. put the normal widget (http://www.librarything.com/widget) on your blog, then edit the widget and replace "alltags" with the tag you want to show. 6rsterling3: The "currently reading" box, along with the other ones, don't really have any functionality, and will likely be superseded by Collections when they are finished being developed. Perhaps once collections come online, there might also be some development of widgets based on Collections; I hope so, anyway. As others have mentioned, currently, the best way to do what you want is to tag the books you're reading with a distinct tag (e.g., now reading, current, currently reading, CR, etc.), and then set up the widget to draw only from that tag. 8LucindaLibriIs there anyway for me to search my library and find all of the books that I have checked as "Currently Reading"? Given that this box is non-functional, I'll need to switch them all to use tags . . . And/or is there a way for me to search for all books that have a started date and no finished date? These don't seem to be searchable fields, so I'm not sure how to find all of those books scattered around my house that I've started but haven't finished :) Thanks for your help. | AboutThis topic is not marked as primarily about any work, author or other topic.
