... Am I the only one who's noticed that the so-called "nameless detective" of the Factory Series does actually have a name? Or a surname, at any rate. It's mentioned once, in passing, and never again.

What's the protocol on this? I CAN'T be the only one who's spotted it. Is it some sort of super-special secret that Derek Raymond devotees hug close to their chests? Perhaps it would be fun to keep it as a top secret, rather than splashed all over the 'net... so I will only say that the name has three syllables.

Who else has spotted it? (If you have, don't divulge it here! A smallish clue, such as the fifth letter of the name, should suffice.)

If you haven't already spotted it, what better excuse to re-read the Factory series again?
