Tag the books in your nudging collection. Maybe "nudge"?

In my case "urj" for unread John.

Search your library for the tag and find out how many are so tagged.

Then visit
Random.org
and enter your interger.

Get Numbers.

Count down your catalog to the random number.

If you don't like the choice, do it again.

But what about "conversation"?

We're conversing, aren't we?

Reminds me of Beckett's Endgame

I'll leave you!
No!
What is there to keep me?
The dialogue!

Meanwhile back at the ranch Didi, Dodo, Toto, Gogo, Soso, and Coco were waiting for Godoto.

HELLO AMERICA! HELLO. WE'RE STORMBIRDS OF THE WORKING CLASS. WORKERS OF THE WORLD . . . . OUR BONES AND BLOOD! And when we die they'll know what we did to make a new world! Christ, cut us up to little pieces. We'll die for what is right! Put fruit trees where our ashes are! Well what's the answer? STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!!! urania dances joyously as the revolution proceeds.

My best pranks in college was posting announcements for a lecture by Beckett.

Of course, everyone came and sat ... waiting for Beckett.

#10 ;) love that!

I once interviewed Keith Johnstone (inventor of theatresports) who used to have interminable but difficult lunches with Beckett. The interview was a hoot, as J thought nothing of telling me that, though he loved Waiting for Godot , he thought Beckett eventually "disappeared up his own asshole." ha! I love it when people are that frank in interviews...

What is this group about, exactly?

I LOVE that, a_musing.

I have enormous love, respect and admiration for Samuel B.

And I would wait for him as long as Didi and Gogo did.

It gives me hope to carry on to say "We'll hang ourselves tomorrow. Unless Godot comes.

And if he comes?

We'll be saved."

It does not get any better.

Hilarious a_musing!!!!

Polutropos, I agree with you about Beckett.

More from Endgame:

If I don't kill that rat, it will die.

Genius.

STRIKE? Anyone?????

Urania, urania, urania,

how would Dodo, Coco, Toto, Gogo, Didi, (am I forgetting anyone?) feel about inciting the Workers of the World to Unite and Strike? Hmmmmm? Toto might be willing to give them a part of his estates, perhaps, though only a small part, I think. And Comrade Stalin would first lead them in strike and then have them all lined up against a wall and shot.

But you know what, with you, OK, I will STRIKE!
