Some sort of survival handbook, the Complete Works of William Shakespeare, the Unabridged Mark Twain, the Ghatti's Tale series, and the Dark is Rising series. Chosen because they're really long, and they're all on my "haven't read yet" list :)

A glow-in-the-dark book on stars and constellations, Stalking the Wild Asparagus by Euell Gibbons (gotta eat), Plutarch's Lives (for inspiration), and Boat Building for Dummys!

I've joked about this. If stranded.....I'd want my Bible. I'd also want my husband. I can recommend a good book to read while you're there; HE can get you off the island! Resourceful, I'm not!

The Adventures of BB and Sam in Thailand! Since it is an eBook, it will conveniently be located on my iPad :P

Plus I love the international exposure.
