*Given as a Christmas gift. Only 3 more of Jodi's books and I've read her entire collection minus the one coming out in March.

Hi Leeny182 - Welcome to the 50 book challenge! It is so hard reading for fun while in school or teaching.

*By far in my opinion the best book by Jodi. You can read my review if you want. Only 1 more book until I've read all 15 of Jodi's books.
The beginning was slow and hard to get into but once I forced myself to keep reading it got more interesting. It wasn't my favorite book but it was good.
Thanks for the info! That is one of those books that one of my girls got assigned in high school that I never have read. I try to go back and read all those before they leave the house.

Anna Maxted. Its not a book that I probably would have picked up otherwise so we'll see how it goes.
Im not sure what that has to do with anything?

play nice there folks ;) It IS a group about books and I think all recommendations should be welcome, but then again, this is not my thread.
I wasnt being rude. I was just asking. Sorry if you took it that way.
Im gathering you put that post because those are books that you read this year. The group is about reading 50 books and every member starts their own thread to keep track of your books. So thats why I was confused about why you put those names, I wasn't sure if you were suggesting I read them or what. And Im not saying this to be mean or rude or anything... If you go to the main group page it says "post a new topic" do that and as the subject put in your user name and then make a post on the thread of the books you've read this year. You can post a new message as you go for each book you've read.

Getting Over It by
Anna Maxted. It was much better than I expected it to be. Chic lit has never really been my taste but I found myself rooting for Helen. I couldn't put it down after chapter 41... read the 70 pages straight through. I needed to know what would happen and I was pleasantly surprised by the ending. =)

Nights In Rodanthe by
Nicholas Sparks. Ok... didnt expect it to be so short when I picked it up at the library. I finished it in two days. It was ok, not my favorite. I wish there was a little more time between the two of them.

Loving Frank by
Nancy Horan. I was disappointed in it, we read it for my book club. It was hard for me to get into. It was slow and rather dull. In some ways I could sympathize with Mamah but I didn't have a lot of compassion for her because she put herself in many of the situations she found herself in. I also did not like the fact that she pretty much completely abandoned her children. Its one thing to leave your husband because you're unhappy but to punish your children for it is another. It took me awhile to read. But I got through it. Now onto my Early Reviewers book "Seasons of Grace One: The Secret" by
Beverly Lewis.
9. "Seasons of Grace One: The Secret" by
Beverly Lewis. This was an early reviewer book and I wasnt too sure about at first. It was really good though and I would like to keep reading. See my review if you want to know more. Now on to my Book Club Book
Good in Bed by
Jennifer Weiner.

Waiter Rant by
Steve Dublanica ... not what I was expecting. It was ok but kind of boring. Written more for the outsider than the current/former server and honestly I don't see why anyone outside the restaurant business would really even want to read a book about us.
