The election of Barack Obama as the first African-American president of the United States was a worldwide historic event resulting in perhaps some of the most important front pages in US history. Much as I love this book idea, this is against the Library Thing user rules. Blatant promotion is not allowed.

Booksellers may use LibraryThing to list their inventory, but not as their primary interface to sell books. They must pay for an organizational account, and are not allowed to solicit other LibraryThing users.

AndrewsMcMeel does have an organizational account.

I'm not sure that one message to a group specifically for Obama supporters constitutes "blatant promotion", or is the type of solicitation that the TOS bars.
