The other thread on the forums has taken a vote and decided that March's book should be The Reader.

I would like to open this thread for people to suggest book titles for future book clubs.

I bought The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano, a Chilean author. Just from the introduction, I believe this book will be in my "top five favorite books ever read" category.

Here is the wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Savage_Detectives

Any other lovely ladies have a suggestion? Even if we don't decide to do all selections as book clubs, I'm sure we all appreciate the recommendations. :-)

You asked for suggestions so here goes:

Suggestion 1: How about we set up a type of calendar (once we decide on the books to be read) so that we can give folks a chance to read then discuss. We can post the calendar (somehow) so that folks can immediately see what's on the menu to be read.

Suggestion 2: What if we choose random genre's first then narrow the book selection down from there? I tend to be more of a classics/fantasy kinda girl but would like to branch out in other genre's like mystery but wouldn't have the slightest clue on what to read. Also, there are a gazillion and a half books to choose from so making a decision on what to read won't be so overwhelming.
