The other one was taking a little bit too long to load so....

Last posts...

I'm happy I'm leaving my current job

TNP is happy this thread is revived

Very.

TNP has a cat on her lap.

ETA: MrA posted on the old thread...

No cat, no her, no lap. Oh wait, i do have a lap.

Hang on, it disappeared when i stood up. Weird.

TNP knows where my lap went.

Aloft, say hello to the HE. No? You just want to stand on my lap? You want to lie down? Good girl.

The next person doesn't like somthing about the recent time change.

Mar 9, 2009, 9:25pm (top)Message 3: aglaia531

I don't like EVERYTHING about it - it throws me for a huge loop, especially around sleeping.

The next person has to try very hard not to sift all of the Mr. Goodbar miniatures out of a mixed Hershey's bag.

Mar 9, 2009, 9:45pm (top)Message 4: megkrahl

I don't try very hard at all. IT is the first thing I do. I love Mr. Goodbar.

The next person remembers when Beavis and Butthead were cool.

Mar 9, 2009, 10:50pm (top)Message 5: Kerian

Yes. An old best friend was very fond of their show. I wasn't allowed to watch it.

The next person is happy about something.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:01pm (top)Message 6: MrsGrinch

Sure. I'm on HE so thats something.

TNP is very angry/sad about something.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:11pm (top)Message 7: Kerian

Sort of. I was mad earlier today but am no longer. For an unrelated reason, I am sad.

The next person has a song stuck in their head.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:20pm (top)Message 8: MrsGrinch

Always.

TNP is faced with an interesting conundrum.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:38pm (top)Message 9: jugglingpaynes

If I cut my hair, it will be easier to care for. But then I'll probably miss my hair. And what if my hair is intricately connected to my strength? I would have to cut it to know for sure, but if I do cut it and it is, then I'll be too weak to type...

The next person is having a hard time getting through a book they promised to review.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:40pm (top)Message 10: Renald128

I just quit my job and I will start on a new stage on my life since I am starting college all over again (I changed career paths) so yep I'm facing quite an interesting conundrum

Nope I don't need to review any of the books I read

TNP has read/seen The Tale of Despereaux

Message edited by its author, Mar 9, 2009, 11:40pm.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:41pm (top)Message 11: MrsGrinch

I haven't read The Tale of Despereaux and I am finding it hard to get through Watership Down.

TNP is cold.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:44pm (top)Message 12: Kerian

Yes. I'm double socked and wearing a bathrobe over my day clothes. (Okay, now I feel lazy but it's night so who cares.)

The next person would like to relax tomorrow.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:46pm (top)Message 13: foggidawn

I would, but have lots to do. At least I can sleep in a little bit.

The next person is a morning person.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:47pm (top)Message 14: MrsGrinch

Definitely.

TNP can't spell very well.

Mar 9, 2009, 11:52pm (top)Message 15: Kerian

I got in the habbit of checking the spell checker online so that when I mistype a word I can spell I don't bother to correct it because the spell checker will get it. Sad, isn't it?

The next person also uses a spell checker from time to time.

Mar 10, 2009, 12:05am (top)Message 16: jugglingpaynes

#15> Um, K? The spell checker missed "habit."

I want to apologize to Ron for beating him three times in various game threads.
Three times.
That I won. :o)
I'll let him have Kerian's TNP.

Mar 10, 2009, 12:07am (top)Message 17: Renald128

Yayyyy!!! Thanks JP you are the best!!

I only use it when I'm using microsoft word

TNP thinks JP is the best!

Mar 10, 2009, 12:10am (top)Message 18: MrsGrinch

But of course.

TNP is watching raw chickens on T.V.

Mar 10, 2009, 12:11am (top)Message 19: Ashley7

JP is the BEST toenail grower in the world. His toenails are longer than queen Elizabeth's. This fact makes queen very jealous.

TNP loves JP.

Message edited by its author, Mar 10, 2009, 12:12am.

Mar 10, 2009, 12:12am (top)Message 20: MrsGrinch

I love JP!!!!

Mar 10, 2009, 12:14am (top)Message 21: MrAndrew

*watches thread with jaw agape in astonishment and awe*

*wonders where this will go*

*gets popcorn refill and drags in couch from other thread*

...continue.

Mar 10, 2009, 12:18am (top)Message 22: Kerian

#16 jp:
I didn't use it that time. :P I'm tired!...*lowers voice*...In a time zone three hours behind yours. *ducks*

Oh...dear. Um...

Well, then....

Yes, I love jp. I think she's one of the most wonderful people there are, and no one feel left out, because I think every HEer is quite special.

The next person would also love to have some popcorn because this thread looks quite interesting.

Mar 10, 2009, 12:18am (top)Message 23: jugglingpaynes

ROFL!!!
Can't...breathe!!! It must be the pressure of my extra long toenails in my shoes!

Mar 10, 2009, 7:35am (top)Message 24: LadyN

*baffled*

*oh, not by the JP love fest. I'm with you all on that one.*

*toe nail grower....???*

Mar 10, 2009, 9:17am (top)Message 25: kirbyowns

Popcorn would be nice K. Thanks for offering.

TNP has hurt themself recently.

Mar 10, 2009, 9:44am (top)Message 26: Mandy2

well, yea, usually but this morning i stubbed my pinkie toe :(

TNP has too much on their plate today.

Mar 10, 2009, 9:46am (top)Message 27: foggidawn

Oh, probably . . . but you'll notice that I am playing around on LT anyway! ;-)

The next person loves to play video games.

Mar 10, 2009, 10:18am (top)Message 28: kirbyowns

Certain video games. It took me 30 minutes last night to get past this one section on my DS.

TNP is using an ice pack now.

Message edited by its author, Mar 10, 2009, 10:18am.

Mar 10, 2009, 1:33pm (top)Message 29: Kerian

It's called room temperature. Honesestly, I could fetch ice from the bird bath (except that would be very gross!). Everything froze last night.

The next person had a good breakfast or lunch.

Mar 10, 2009, 1:53pm (top)Message 30: foggidawn

I had a pretty good breakfast, but have to wait a while for lunch.

The next person dislikes talking on the phone.

Mar 10, 2009, 2:09pm (top)Message 31: kirbyowns

Yes, I hate talking on the phone. I'd rather email or talk in person.

TNP is a little bit excited about something.

Mar 10, 2009, 2:11pm (top)Message 32: Kerian

I'm a lefty who can't hear as well in her left ear. It irritates some people when I talk on the phone and ask them to repeat themselves. :(

I am excited to be off work today!

The next person uses or wonders if they need to use glasses when reading.

Message edited by its author, Mar 10, 2009, 2:12pm.

Mar 10, 2009, 3:31pm (top)Message 33: elbakerone

I'm near sighted so technically I can read without wearing my glasses/contacts but my vision is so bad that I would have to hold the book reeeeally close.

The next person owns fancy or funky sunglasses.

Mar 10, 2009, 3:56pm (top)Message 34: aglaia531

I'm about to! I'm ordering a pair of prescription Coach sunglasses on the cheap thanks to a trunk show and employee discount.

The next person has 300+ new emails in his or her inbox. *facepalm*

Mar 10, 2009, 5:28pm (top)Message 35: littlegeek

I probably have 3,000 old emails, does that count?

TNP can sing the next line of this song: Gloom, despair & agony on me.

Mar 14, 2009, 1:41pm (top)Message 36: Renald128

Nope. Never heard of that song :S...

TNP is planning on buying new books this coming week

Mar 15, 2009, 12:39am (top)Message 37: Kerian

I wish! Or wait! Charles de Lint has a new book out next week! Definitely.

Th next person has read th book or seen th movie of Howl's Moving Castle.

Mar 16, 2009, 12:59am (top)Message 38: Sharonxxx

Ooo ooo ooo meee meee meee
I saw it!!!!!!!!!!

HOW DID YOU KNOW?

Anyway, I liked the theme song. It made me cry, and I never cry.

TNP likes me.

Message edited by its author, Mar 16, 2009, 1:19am.

Mar 16, 2009, 11:06am (top)Message 39: picolina

Sure! Welcome to the HE Sharon!

TNP knows the next words to this song:

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles.

Mar 16, 2009, 11:39am (top)Message 40: kirbyowns

My father said stay away from Juliet... or something like that. It's Taylor Swift!

TNP is hungry, sort of.

Mar 16, 2009, 11:57am (top)Message 41: biblioholic29

Yep, but I didn't make a lunch, so I'm trying to decide whether to walk the two blocks to Subway, or skip lunch and be starving by the time I leave...

TNP will tell which I should do.

Mar 16, 2009, 12:33pm (top)Message 42: Kerian

Don't skip lunch. You'll feel awful if you do.

The next person has recently thought about the group movie meet we're having this summer.

Mar 16, 2009, 1:06pm (top)Message 43: kirbyowns

Yes. How did you know? You've been reading my thoughts again, haven't you?! I was just trying to plan my summer before they start telling us dates for professional development. It would be nice if a group of us could get together to see the movie and go to the museum.

TNP is sore.

Mar 16, 2009, 1:08pm (top)Message 44: Kerian

Bwahaha! I have been.

Alas, yes. My back hurts.

The next person has something to do today.

Mar 16, 2009, 3:24pm (top)Message 45: picolina

Ummm, not really. Just laze around. Normally I'd have flute lessons, but since it's march break, I don't have them.

TNP is thinking of eating a snack.

Mar 16, 2009, 4:19pm (top)Message 46: aglaia531

I am, actually - I'm deciding whether to eat these girl scout cookies, or actually get lunch.... hmmmm.....

The next person recently made a change to their appearance - haircut, tattoo, piercing, got in a fight and has a black eye... :-P

Mar 16, 2009, 9:38pm (top)Message 47: picolina

Ummm, you know I'm gonna have to say no. I got a haircut bout a week or two ago, but that's about it.

TNP needs to get the laundry done.

Mar 16, 2009, 10:01pm (top)Message 48: foggidawn

Surprisingly, no. Now, dishes . . . well, that's another story.

The next person will tell us what their least-favorite household chore is.

Mar 16, 2009, 10:04pm (top)Message 49: Smiley_Scorpio

cleaning the litterbox or washing dishes

tnp likes the song "Handlebars" by the Flobots

Mar 16, 2009, 11:28pm (top)Message 50: picolina

I'm afraid I don't know who they are or what the song is.

TNP loves to watch basketball on TV.

Mar 16, 2009, 11:31pm (top)Message 51: Renald128

Not really, I prefer soccer or baseball than basketball

TNP is going to bed now

Mar 17, 2009, 12:13am (top)Message 52: foggidawn

Yep.

The next person will wear green tomorrow . . . er, well, today, I guess.

Mar 17, 2009, 3:41am (top)Message 53: Kerian

Not yet but I will be! I fear my kid sister will tackle me otherwise, not that she's stronger. I can totally take her. She was screaming at the top of her lungs today that I was a bag of bones who was freakishly strong. (I tackled her to the couch and carpet. ;)

The next person wonders if they behave too young for their age sometimes.

Mar 17, 2009, 11:28am (top)Message 54: Mandy2

yes, but i blame my older sisters for that

TNP also blames their older siblings for most things.

Mar 17, 2009, 11:46am (top)Message 55: MrsGrinch

Sometimes. Mwhahaha

TNP is green.

Message edited by its author, Mar 17, 2009, 11:46am.

Mar 17, 2009, 11:51am (top)Message 56: Mandy2

I am and you know what...

It's not that easy bein' green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold-
or something much more colorful like that.

TNP is not mad at me for getting that song stuck in their head...

Mar 17, 2009, 11:53am (top)Message 57: MrsGrinch

No I'm pretty miffed. >8( ;)

TNP is listening to music

Mar 17, 2009, 12:58pm (top)Message 58: Renald128

Nope but I was a minute ago while driving home.

TNP tends to repeat many, many, many times the same song if they like that song.

Mar 17, 2009, 1:08pm (top)Message 59: foggidawn

I have done that in the past. I also tend to listen to CDs over and over again in my car, so the same 10 or 12 songs over and over again, just because I like them and forget to change them out.

The next person listens to the radio, rather than CDs, when they are in the car.

Mar 17, 2009, 1:32pm (top)Message 60: Kerian

Yes. We prefer the radio much more. Our music tastes are too different from one another. That said, I just remembered my sister who has begun to move back in adores country and I can't stand it.

The next person will tell us their favorite kind of music. (Ex. genre.)

Mar 17, 2009, 1:35pm (top)Message 61: picolina

Depends if there's anything good playing on the radio. Oh, and which car I'm in, cuz the red one has the CD case, the blue one only has bout 10 CDs.

I think I like hip hop or pop the best.

TNP gets songs stuck in their head easily.

Message edited by its author, Mar 17, 2009, 1:36pm.

Mar 17, 2009, 2:33pm (top)Message 62: Espeon200

Definitely. If the music that got stuck in my head was audible to everyone around me, I'm sure someone would kill me.

That made perfect sense to TNP.

Mar 17, 2009, 2:41pm (top)Message 63: Kerian

Yes. I had to reread your sentence afterward and wonder if it shouldn't have after I read your TNP, though.

The next person is very opinionated about crows.

Mar 17, 2009, 6:08pm (top)Message 64: picolina

How do you mean? That I think they're ugly and annoying? Ya, that'd be me!

TNP likes spinach.

Mar 17, 2009, 6:10pm (top)Message 65: kirbyowns

Only in vegetarian lasagna. I won't eat it otherwise.

TNP is sleepy.

Mar 17, 2009, 6:53pm (top)Message 66: MrsGrinch

Kinda.

TNP just got home.

Mar 17, 2009, 7:03pm (top)Message 67: pollysmith

yep I did! TNP is eating

Mar 17, 2009, 7:56pm (top)Message 68: biblioholic29

I'm between eating actually...I just finished dinner and I'm going to be eating some chocolate in a minute.

TNP cooked tonight.

Mar 17, 2009, 8:18pm (top)Message 69: MrsGrinch

Nope.

TNP is hungwy

Mar 17, 2009, 8:41pm (top)Message 70: Renald128

Nope not hungwy...hungry yes, well kind of like starving actually

TNP is waiting to play the link game now

Mar 17, 2009, 8:48pm (top)Message 71: foggidawn

Yep, I'm almost tempted to post one, just to keep the game going.

The next person thinks we have too many game threads on HE. ;-)

Mar 17, 2009, 9:06pm (top)Message 72: MrAndrew

I'm not game to say that.

ah, hahahaha! Oh, i amuse myself.

TNP thinks they're nuts.

Mar 17, 2009, 9:10pm (top)Message 73: Espeon200

Yeah, They are completely crazy.

TNP has gone to great lengths to fix their post count to a specific number only to mess it up on the last day because they live a day ahead of LibraryThing.

Mar 17, 2009, 9:14pm (top)Message 74: MrAndrew

*waits for someone to answer*

*whistles*

Mar 17, 2009, 9:15pm (top)Message 75: picolina

No, I am a perfectly, normally shaped person who isn't withered and brown and hard-shelled. ;)

TNP wants ice cream.

Mar 17, 2009, 9:27pm (top)Message 76: foggidawn

Ooh! I do! And we have some, too. . . .

*wanders off, almost forgetting to post a TNP*

The next person is starting a rumor about MrA based on Pico's post.

Mar 17, 2009, 9:39pm (top)Message 77: jugglingpaynes

Done.

The next person has been laughing a lot tonight.

Mar 18, 2009, 1:34am (top)Message 78: Kerian

Most definitely.

The next person is reading more than one book right now.

Mar 18, 2009, 1:46am (top)Message 79: MrAndrew

I'm reading less than one book right now. I just finished one and haven't started another yet. I'm currently in-between books. I'm unembooked.

TNP is never unembooked because they are always reading more than one at a time.

Mar 18, 2009, 11:14am (top)Message 80: aglaia531

Tis true! am currently reading The Book Thief and needing to return to Herland, both of which are books I'm technically reading for school, but which were on my TBR before the semester started.

The next person stayed up too late last night. *yaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnn*

Mar 18, 2009, 11:15am (top)Message 81: foggidawn

That would be me.

The next person is currently rereading a Harry Potter book.

Mar 18, 2009, 12:47pm (top)Message 82: Renald128

Yep I'm reading Chamber of Secrets for my reread of the whole series before the movie comes out

TNP is sad that there are no more Harry Potter books to look forward to...

Mar 18, 2009, 1:07pm (top)Message 83: kirbyowns

Preposterous! I'm still waiting for the Encyclopedia. That will count as a book in my department.

TNP is sick of being sick.

Mar 18, 2009, 1:17pm (top)Message 84: picolina

No, fortunately I'm not sick at the moment.

TNP thinks playing hide 'n seek with inanimate objects is fun!

Mar 18, 2009, 3:00pm (top)Message 85: kirbyowns

Depends if I'm the one hiding or seeking.

TNP will remember to post about the TNP with out editing.

Message edited by its author, Mar 18, 2009, 3:00pm.

Mar 18, 2009, 3:03pm (top)Message 86: Espeon200

Forgetfulness

TNP sometimes mixes up what game thread they are on.

Mar 18, 2009, 3:35pm (top)Message 87: Renald128

I double check the title every single time...

TNP *checks title* just got home from work...

Mar 18, 2009, 8:20pm (top)Message 88: MrAndrew

ha ha i took the day off.

TNP has a cat eyeballing them suspiciously.

Mar 18, 2009, 8:43pm (top)Message 89: pollysmith

always! she's waiting for me to put down the laptop so she can jump up here!
TNP doesn't like cats (Come on admit it. We won't hate you....too hard!)

Mar 18, 2009, 8:47pm (top)Message 90: MrAndrew

I fear and distrust them.

TNP wishes that people could keep bears.

Mar 18, 2009, 9:52pm (top)Message 91: Espeon200

Well yeah... because there are three important things in life: Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica.

TNP can think of something more important than those three things.

Mar 18, 2009, 10:24pm (top)Message 92: MrAndrew

Abstruse references to popular culture.

TNP wonders what the world would be like without televisions and the internet.

Mar 18, 2009, 10:58pm (top)Message 93: Renald128

I know what it would be like...kind of boring actually

TNP thinks that maybe we would have more people reading books if it wasn't for TV or the internet...

Mar 18, 2009, 11:23pm (top)Message 94: jugglingpaynes

If I had no internet, I wouldn't have LT, which means I wouldn't have people forcing me to add hundreds of books to my TBR pile each year...so no. :o)

Plus there are some really cool book and author sites.

The next person has a favorite book site or author site.

Mar 19, 2009, 12:17am (top)Message 95: MrsGrinch

I like the Stephanie Meyer website.

TNP is watching T.V.

Mar 20, 2009, 7:21am (top)Message 96: Ms_Bella

yep.

TNP is looking forward to their day being over so they can have fun tonight.

Mar 20, 2009, 9:47am (top)Message 97: Mandy2

I am indeed, we are dogsitting once again, but for a different dog this time so i'm excited to go home and play with them!

TNP likes to play with fire (bad bad next person, fire is not a toy!!)

Mar 20, 2009, 11:39am (top)Message 98: jugglingpaynes

Yes! Yes, fire is a toy! *Passes finger through candle flame and pours more lighter fluid on the juggling torches.*

The next person has a boo-boo.

Mar 20, 2009, 11:58am (top)Message 99: biblioholic29

My shoulder hurts for no apparent reason, so I guess I do.

TNP has allergies.

Mar 20, 2009, 12:13pm (top)Message 100: picolina

Well ya, against pollen, but nothing really serious, just annoying.

TNP is going to eat soon.

Mar 20, 2009, 1:02pm (top)Message 101: Smiley_Scorpio

ummm........i think my cousin is cooking right now actually......idk

the next person makes fun of the commercial for the Snuggie

Mar 21, 2009, 9:48am (top)Message 102: pollysmith

I make fun of all those commercials! (secretly because I want to call and order all of them!)

Mar 22, 2009, 12:47pm (top)Message 103: picolina

And what is the next person doing polly?

May 31, 2009, 6:41pm (top)Message 104: Renald128

I am reviving this thread since I love it so much!

I also make fun of commercials in general!

TNP is rereading (or rehearing the audiobooks) the HP series before the movie

May 31, 2009, 9:47pm (top)Message 105: pollysmith

that s me! Yes and TNP is thinking that they need to do a reread

May 31, 2009, 11:19pm (top)Message 106: MrsGrinch

Probably.

TNP is waiting for a T.V. show to start.

Jun 1, 2009, 8:03am (top)Message 107: MsDonna

Yes, I'm waiting for the Snuggie advertorial.

TNP thinks that people who wear Snuggies are really culties.

Jun 1, 2009, 8:10am (top)Message 108: MrAndrew

Yes, but it's the warm and comfortable cult.

TNP looks for comfort in a cult.

Jun 1, 2009, 10:01am (top)Message 109: Mandy2

not last time I checked.

TNP thinks MrA is trying to set us up to join his cult

Jun 1, 2009, 10:15am (top)Message 110: kirbyowns

Probably.

TNP is happy about something that is happening this week.

Jun 1, 2009, 12:46pm (top)Message 111: Always_Reading

A major b-day milestone is coming up on Sunday! So yes...

TNP is feeling tall for some reason today. (I'm feeling a bit random...)

Jun 1, 2009, 12:47pm (top)Message 112: kirbyowns

Yes, my sandles have a 3 inch heel. ;)

TNP is hungry.....when is lunch getting here?!

Jun 1, 2009, 2:10pm (top)Message 113: aglaia531

Yes, I am! I missed breakfast in the caf by 2 minutes, and I'm not ready for sushi yet, so I'm feeling a bit betweenish, foodwise. Hmph.

The next person doesn't feel like working today.

Jun 1, 2009, 2:21pm (top)Message 114: foggidawn

Hmmmm . . . it's not that I don't feel like working so much as that I want to be done with work for the day.

The next person is excited about the end of the school year.

Jun 1, 2009, 2:59pm (top)Message 115: kirbyowns

Yes, sortof. My skin is allergic to tomatos and oranges. If I cut or peel them, I break out horribly (especially around my wrists). The reaction was triggered when I was in college by having to wear gloves that had powder in them. I also can't wear anything tight on my wrists. Even wearing loose jewelry for a long period of time will break me out.

TNP thinks I'm just plain weird.

Aug 15, 2009, 9:59am (top)Message 231: biblioholic29

Actually, yeah. I'm trying to get a lot of reading in the next three weeks before SYTYCD season 6 comes back along with all my other shows!

TNP doesn't watch TV and would never let it interfere with their reading.

Aug 15, 2009, 10:29am (top)Message 232: kirbyowns

I don't watch much TV. I don't think I have for the last 3 days, but I do watch sometimes. When I'm watching I'm also reading or eating. Always the multi-tasker.

Aug 15, 2009, 11:41am (top)Message 233: pollysmith

me too. My husband and son don't understand how I can read, or sew, or crochet or surf the net and keep track of whats going on on the TV. My son will come in and grab the remote and I say"uhuh I'm watching this"
"No youre not your on the computer"

"just because you have only one working brain cell and can only do one thing at a time doesn't mean I can't do two things at once, son!"

"Okay so whats happening on the show?"

and I tell him then tell him to shut up so I can hear it. and i wonder why he hates me :)

Aug 15, 2009, 12:29pm (top)Message 234: kirbyowns

Ah, the joys of living with males. They just don't understand us. It's all in the brain research. Tell them that.

Aug 20, 2009, 2:08pm (top)Message 243: pollysmith

love them long and professionally done!

TNP thinks long proffessionally done nails a horrible waste of money (but secretly longs to have them)

Aug 20, 2009, 2:27pm (top)Message 244: picolina

I do think they are a waste of money (for me) And I don't long to have them because I'm really bad at keeping long nails nice. When they're long mine are always chipped and I end up scratching myself by accident... So I keep them nice and short, but long nails do look very nice on people who know how to take care of them! :)
