I've only seen the first three episodes of Torchwood so I haven't ventured into the Torchwood thread yet, but has anyone read the three books? Given the mature content of the series so far I can't imagine them being as kiddified as the first three Tenth Doctor books were...

So far I've read the 1st 2, and they are now where as kiddiedied as the Doctor Who novels. I would even venture they are more mature that the series. In a way they are more Torchwood than the TV show.

I've also read two now and I enjoyed them more than I have the recent Doctor Who novels. It is a shame no second batch of three Torchwood books has been announced.

The 2nd batch of books were on a whole better than the first three. I haven't read the most recent three as of yet. As for being more mature than the new Who books, that is without a doubt true.
