I was just wondering what you think of them. I did see the movie and liked it fairly well! I am also curious about Twilight. I was a camp counselor last summer and had to suffer through interminable giggly Twilight lectures from children under the age of 13, and it began to irritate me to the point where I am now afraid to even think about reading them. Is this a mistake on my part? Mar 31, 2009, 3:34pm (top)Message 6: Conner23456I like the way the books move. I tought the book was better than the movies by far. I think that it is a read that people should read, because it is a good book. But, if you dont like the style of the book then you probley would not like it, because that is all it is. Also, some people say that her writing is not good, at least not as good a J.K. Rowling is. But, i think that it is a good piece of work. If you guys read it, let me know what you think. Now, i just have to wait till the third one comes into the library. Message edited by its author, Mar 31, 2009, 3:40pm. I just finished the third one. They aren't as bad as I wanted them to be. Now don't get me wrong, they aren't War and Peace but then they aren't supposed to be. I hear the fourth book is the best. I really enjoy Scott Westerfeld's books, are you going to read the rest of the Uglies series? Mar 31, 2009, 10:59pm (top)Message 9: Conner23456I heard the fouth one is the best also. Yes i am going to read the rest of Uglies series. I am allmost done with the second one. That one was really hard to get trought compared to the first one. Thats just what i think. For some reason this year, i have read a lot more book so far, and during summer i will read a lot more, than what i have read in other years. I dont know why i just guess that there are some good books out there this year other than other years. I read To Kill a Mockingbird for the first time last year and loved it, so the other book interests me. May 14, 2009, 2:35am (top)Message 25: avatiakhI'm interested in Thirteen reasons Why - how did you find it, it has had some controversial reviews. I've just ordered it from the library to have a look. Have you read Westerfeld's Midnighters trilogy - my daughter is onto the second book and really enjoying it. If you want to link your books to their LT page put square brackets around the title and then check that the touchstone is for the correct book - click on 'others' to correct it. May 14, 2009, 11:17am (top)Message 26: Conner23456Thanks for the comments. #24. I did like In Search of Mockingbird I think that it was a good book to read. The book is mosyly about the main theams in To Kill a Mockingbird. But, i like the concept about it. So, i think you should read it. #25. I found the book Thirteen reasons why kinda depresing based on what the story line is. But, i do think it is a great story, just kinda depresing. (does that make sence?). I hope you enjoy it also. Also, i have not read the Midnighters by Westerfeld. I have put it on my list of books to read someday. (mabay this summer). I dont think that my library has them thought. So, i might have to seach for them at diffrent book stores. (Hope to get a job this summer. For a few reasons. 1. Senior Year of High school. 2. behind highschool. 3. Fun stuff. Which included books.) Also, i dont really like the brakcets around the titles. But, i am going to change the way i record books. By, having a list of the books in the first message and then having a individual message for each book i read and have a review with those messages. Scott Westerfeld is one of my favorite authors, he also wrote Peeps and its sequel The Last Days. And if you enjoy the Uglies series you might also enjoy the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. A lot of action in those. How was Storky? I've seen it mentioned a few times but haven't heard much about how it was. May 14, 2009, 3:31pm (top)Message 28: Conner23456Storky was an intresting book. If you dont really like things, like what people think teens talk about, then i would not read it. But, if that type of stuff does not bother you then i would read it. It was a quick book to read, and it would be a book just to read to make you happy. May 16, 2009, 3:33am (top)Message 29: alcottacre#26: Thanks for the additional info. I will look for it!
