Next up in our series of mini-author theme reads is JD Salinger. Perfect if you need a little breather from our year long author read. Here we will discuss his background, influences, lifestyle, etc. to try and understand the man behind the literary works. How exciting!

We will be reading this mini-author from May to August at which point we will switch to Kazuo Ishiguro.

yep heard about that. Holden Caulfield runs away from retirement home. Sounds like a winner ;)

By the way, when is this Salinger reading supposed to start?

Since most people have read Catcher in the Rye I'll set up that post right away. Maybe then you can start up the discussion. :)
