Separate my tags so to see different categories but still having the authors alphabetizing them at the same time.

I'm not sure what you are requesting, could you give an example or elaborate a bit more?

If you're asking that when you search on a tag, the list of resulting books is alphabetized by author, you can already do that. The tag search keeps whichever sort your library is currently using.

And if you are asking to be able to sort by tags and sub-sort by author on the Your Books page, then the easiest way to do that is with the sort button (little up and down arrows at the top next to the lightning bolt).

Or of course you could just add an author name tag to the front of your tags list. This can be a bit arduous to set up!

"Easiest" is relative. The easiest way for me is the original way (i.e. sort by author, then by tags). I find the "sort button" interface excruciatingly slow, clunky, and non-intuitive.

Sorry, I meant the easiest for me to explain.

Did anyone figure what the OP wanted?
