I'm getting labor day by joyce maynard.

Jul 1, 2009, 1:44pm (top)Message 2: Kate9999

I'm getting Life of Pi.
I have a question, when I click on books I've won, the Life of Pi appears twice. Is this normal?

Jul 1, 2009, 1:46pm (top)Message 3: dchaikin

I'm getting Aracoeli by Elsa Morante, which was the perfect fit for me as I'm very interesting in this author and haven't read anything by her before.

Kate999 - I don't follow what you clicked. Can you explain further?

Jul 1, 2009, 1:52pm (top)Message 7: bookcrushblog

Kate999 - I experienced that too. Think it's just a bug in the new feature.

dchaiken - Kate's talking about the feature being discussed on this thread: http://www.librarything.com/topic/68003

Jul 1, 2009, 2:03pm (top)Message 10: BaileysAndBooks

Nothing for me this month. Oh well, here's hoping for July!
Congrats to all who snagged a book.

Jul 1, 2009, 2:05pm (top)Message 11: readafew

I was surprised, I'm getting Sworn to Silence, I think (and hope) it will be an interesting read.

Jul 1, 2009, 2:11pm (top)Message 12: DonnerLibrary

Nothing for me this month but I'm okay with that. There weren't any that I was super interested in and I have plenty of reading to keep me busy for a while.

Jul 1, 2009, 2:12pm (top)Message 13: l-mo

I'm also getting Sworn to Silence. I'm quite surprised and slightly thrilled to have won one my third month of trying.

Jul 1, 2009, 2:15pm (top)Message 14: NWADEL

I'm also getting sworn to silence !! I can't wait, looks like an awesome read!

Jul 1, 2009, 2:19pm (top)Message 15: crazy4reading

I didn't win anything this month. Oh well will keep trying.

#11, 13 & 14> I read Sworn to Silence and I loved the book. I wrote my review and posted it here at LT, amazon, my blog, and a few different sites. I was lucky enough to get the book from some one on here who had read it but didn't want to keep it. I know I will be looking for more books by Linda Castillo. Happy reading you guys!!!

Jul 1, 2009, 2:20pm (top)Message 16: erinmontague

Will be receiving The Carousel Painter by Judith Miller. Looks like a fun read:)

Jul 1, 2009, 2:37pm (top)Message 17: insolent_redhead

I'm getting Fear the Worst by Linwood Barclay. Sounds pretty interesting.

Jul 1, 2009, 2:42pm (top)Message 18: enoch_elijah

Jul 1, 2009, 2:47pm (top)Message 19: nawatramani

Primitive by Mark Nykanen.

A new author for me, always an interesting exercise!

Jul 1, 2009, 2:51pm (top)Message 20: gaialover2

The Carousel Painter by Judith Miller

My first win and just in time for my birthday too!

Jul 1, 2009, 2:54pm (top)Message 21: Dogberryjr

Not getting a darned thing. I only liked a couple, so I guess that's cool. I just wonder if the pool of requesters is getting so large that it's going to be really tough to get an ARC. Seems like it, as about 2000 lined up for 15 copies of a collection of Tolstoy short stories.

Jul 1, 2009, 2:59pm (top)Message 22: craso

Sandman Slim by Richard Kadrey. This is the first book I have won on ER. Yeah!

Jul 1, 2009, 3:07pm (top)Message 23: Jenson_AKA_DL

Nothing once again :( It was rather depressing. I logged in to find three "sorry you didn't get" Member Giveaway notices along with the ER one.

Jul 1, 2009, 3:08pm (top)Message 24: lisally

None for me again either...

I just have bad luck with ER, going on a year with no books!

Jul 1, 2009, 3:11pm (top)Message 25: writemeg

I'm getting Alyson Noël's Evermore -- the one I really wanted! Hooray!

Jul 1, 2009, 3:15pm (top)Message 26: tardis

I'm getting $20 Per Gallon: How the Inevitable Rise in the Price of Gasoline Will Change Our Lives for the Better which I really requested for my husband who likes that sort of book (and I probably got it because of his books that I've catalogued), but I'll read and review it myself as well. Should be interesting. I don't read much non-fiction, aside from gardening books, of which there are never enough in the ER program.

Thanks again to LT for this great program!

Jul 1, 2009, 4:14pm (top)Message 30: SmangosBubbles

As far as I can tell: nothing! (Five months! But that is okay because I have at least a hundred TBRs.)

Jul 1, 2009, 4:52pm (top)Message 31: jrquilter

I am very pleased to be getting the debut novel, The Calligrapher's Daughter.

Jul 1, 2009, 5:25pm (top)Message 32: lindapanzo

I am getting 206 Bones, the new mystery by Kathy Reichs.

It was the only book I asked for this month so I was really surprised (and pleased) to get it.

Jul 1, 2009, 5:29pm (top)Message 33: Shortride

Got a copy of Glover's Mistake. Been over a year since I won a book, so it's nice to get one.

Jul 1, 2009, 5:29pm (top)Message 34: BaileysAndBooks

So while I didn't get anything from ER - I did just get a member giveaway for Baking Cakes in Kigali!

Jul 1, 2009, 5:36pm (top)Message 35: ncgraham

I never thought I'd get an ARC, but I just received confirmation that I'll be receiving The Elegance of the Hedgehog in the mail shortly. It looks very interesting.

Jul 1, 2009, 5:42pm (top)Message 36: NeverStopTrying

This is my first ARC and I am excited that The Algorythm finally sees me. I got Richard Kadrey's Sandman Slim.

Jul 1, 2009, 6:54pm (top)Message 37: sharonluvscats

Jul 1, 2009, 9:26pm (top)Message 42: Jim53

Just found out I'm getting a copy of Don't Forget to Sing in the Lifeboats. Might be very appropriate the way work has been lately.

Jul 1, 2009, 10:21pm (top)Message 43: takemeaway9

I didn't get a yes or a no yet... does that mean it's a no and I just haven't gotten my notice? This is just the second time I've tried to get one and the first was several months ago. I'm going to try to keep up with it from now on so hopefully I'll get one soon!

Jul 2, 2009, 12:05am (top)Message 44: whitewavedarling

>43 You will get a notice before too long; I haven't gotten one yet, either, but I'm sure the rest of the notes will be up by tomorrow at the latest. In my experience, a later notice Usually means it's a no, but I know there are exceptions also. Good luck :)

Jul 2, 2009, 12:46am (top)Message 45: sqdancer

I haven't received a notice yet either. Don't worry, you're not being ignored (or if you are, you're not alone!)

Hmm .... sqdancer, takemeaway9, whitewavedarling .... maybe the "No" notices are being sent alphabetically.

Jul 2, 2009, 6:27am (top)Message 46: JGoto

Jul 2, 2009, 8:08am (top)Message 49: fuzzy_patters

I haven't gotten anything in a year, but at least I have extra time to work on my to be read pile.

Jul 2, 2009, 8:27am (top)Message 50: jenni7202

Nothing for this month, although I was really hoping for Evermore. Congrats to all the winners! I guess it's a good thing I didn't get any, I have a ton of review books already lined up, and my TBR pile for books I want to read for my own personal enjoyment is towering over the 500 mark now..eeeek.

Jul 2, 2009, 8:27am (top)Message 51: mollishka

I didn't even get a message saying I didn't get anything :-( and I could have sworn I requested something, I usually request one or two even though I never get anything.

Jul 2, 2009, 8:54am (top)Message 52: karenmarie

Jul 2, 2009, 10:16am (top) Message 56: ablachly
