I don't know if this is possible. When you add books each book gets its own little box which allows you to add tags and rate the book. In this box it also tells you how many other members have this title. I often like to look at which other members have the title since it gives me clues to further interesting libraries. To do this, currently, I have to go to the edit book function and click the hyperlink there. I would be most grateful if the quick edit box could have such a link to save the extra clicking about. Apologies if this is impossible or not a feature many other members would want.
There are a lot of things that people would like to put in that box, like Title, Author, and Other Author, to avoid having to click through to the edit page. But Tim has said that he doesn't want to clutter it up with too many things and an option for what to include would make the interface to complex.
*nods* But this would be taking existing text and making it link. It could even be a hover link like the way "Message 2" is in Talk.
>3 Is that new? How did I not know that before? I've never bothered linking to specific messages because I could never figure out the number.
As per the OP, it's not something I'd particularly use, but I see no reason why it shouldn't be a link - especially since there's no easy link to the book info (just the edit page) elsewhere on that page.
4> Yes, new - within the last month. Someone brought up the perennial request for starring posts within a thread, discussion lead to 'if we could just easily link to a post, that would be great'... and Tim went ahead and did it. Isn't it lovely?
