It's already well into the new month so start pimping those inventories!
Anyone here wanna claim a like-new hardcover copy of
for one more day by Mitch Albom?
Dead Until DarkIt's not on my inventory as yet, but as it's on a lot of wishlists, I thought I'd give my fellow LTers a chance to get it first. PM me and I'll reserve for you.
ETA: This has now been mooched

Bookel - I'm wondering if this a book a read years ago - The plot went something like this - a kid in highschool is living alone, dad has disappeared. He lives in a world where food is hard to come by, and only athletes get the higher protein. He raises rabbits illegally. He meets a girl in his high school who runs track who's parents are also missing, but she is studying her dad's or Mom's medical book to become a doctor?. Mystery unfolds, all is revealed with including where the parents went at the end.
Is this the same book? I read when I was in ninth grade or so, and the plot stuck with me. If it is, I'd be willing to mooch it from you. I'm in the US.
-Carrie (TheDivineOomba on BookMooch)
TheDivineOomba yes that's the same book (almost all details correct but I won't give spoilers). I left you a message.
I'll be adding
Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert to my inventory in a few days.
If someone is interested, let me know and I'll reserve it for you for putting it on BM. I ship worldwide.
New Moon by Meyer now available for mooching -NOT in great condition but not in terrible condition. U.S. only.
http://bookmooch.com/m/detail/9780316024...Condition:
Acceptable/Fair – you be the judge. This copy looks as if it spent a rough month in a high schooler’s backpack. It did. Surprisingly, the text is fine, the binding tight and those scraped cover edges and big cover creases and a crinkle here and there on a page edge and folded corners do not detract from its ‘readability.’ Oh yes, and a few tiny tears on the last few pages’ tops. I probably missed some detail but I’m certain there are no handwritten notes or underlining or highlighting (as if) or sticky candy residue or soda stains, or little heart drawings or etc. Need I say this is not gift quality or anywhere near pristine? It still is shiny.

I'm new to BookMooch but am excited thanks to the comments I read about it here on LT! My inventory is small but will be growing as I cull through my shelves in the coming weeks.
http://www.bookmooch.com/m/inventory/qui...Welcome, ForeignCircus!
BookMooch is a wonderful thing and I hope you have as good an experience with it as I have.
Hi everyone, I've been on Bookmooch since last November and just joined Library Thing more recently. I love them both, and I'm enjoying checking out the different inventories. Here is mine
http://bookmooch.com/m/inventory/dadena. I have a bit of variety on there.
Message edited by its author, Jul 9, 2009, 1:36pm.
I have just listed a copy of Fat Girl by Judith Moore. It is on a lot of wishlists (but not the edition I have listed) and for some reason is not showing as related to the main wishlisted editions.
http://www.bookmooch.com/m/detail/186197...I send worldwide so up for grabs by anyone who wants it.
The rest of my (small at the moment) inventory is here if you want to take a look:
http://www.bookmooch.com/m/inventory/mel...Message edited by its author, Jul 10, 2009, 7:38pm.
I've got two hardcovers from Janet Evanovich still up. The rest of the series got mooched, but I think these were overlooked because they weren't paperbacks. Also books by Lisa Jackson, Iris Johansen, James Patterson, Anne Stuart, and others all in excellent condition.
Random fiction and non-fiction in varying conditions.
2 for 1 domestic and 3 for 2 international specials. Also several books in beat-up condition you can mooch for free when combined with a regular mooch. Points smooched back upon mailing.

is anyone interested in
Property by Valerie Martin or
Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire? Both are like-new with unbroken spines (somehow I ended up with duplicates so these were never read). Let me know and I'll reserve for you on BM...
I'm about to post a book on my inventory today that is on multiple wishlists, so I thought I'd give people here a "heads up" first.
Dark Light by Jayne Castle aka Jayne Ann Krentz
This book is in excellent condition (not even any spine creases).
Let me know if anyone wants it, I'm Geophile on both Librarything and Bookmooch.
I haven't added them to my inventory yet, but I have a
slightly battered paperback copy of Coraline (one major spine crease, a sticker on the bottom of the front cover, but fine for reading) and a read-once hardback of
Capt. Hook. I thought I'd check here first, since they're both wishlisted books.
I can definitely send Coraline most anywhere, but Capt. Hook is a bit heavy, so the US and Canada are probably it unless someone will angel. Just leave a comment on my profile.
ETA: Coraline is taken.

Hello everyone. :)
I've got most of the Left Behind series from my aunt. They're not my cup of tea, but I'm hoping to find a good home for them, and get some books myself. I also have several comic books that came into my possession that I don't want, as well as some Hardy Boys books, James Paterson, and many more. The comic books I will let go for 2 for 1, 3 for 2, and even 4 for 2. So if anyone is interested, check them out at my BookMooch page. :)

Hey guys! I'm moving soon, so I'll be listing a lot of stuff over the next two weeks or so.
For manga lovers:
-The first four volumes of
Nana - MOOCHED
-All eight volumes of
Chobits - MOOCHED
-All 3 volumes of
Alichino. - MOOCHED
I would prefer that the Chobits and Alichino sets were each mooched in their entirety by one person, but at the moment I just need them OUT of my house, so if you can't take them all, that's fine.
For everybody else:
-There's also
Wall of Mirrors, a pretty intense sci-fi novel. - MOOCHED
-A fairly worn copy of
Les Miserables - MOOCHED
I have more to list, but I'm going to add everything in spurts so I don't get too swamped with requests.
Magazines are still 3-for-1, mooch any 3 and I will refund you the points for 2 of them upon sending.
My inventory is here:
http://www.bookmooch.com/m/inventory/mur...Message edited by its author, Jul 18, 2009, 1:45am.
Just added the following eight books:
My most recent additions to the inventory:

«§» Journey of awakening : a meditator's guidebook
«§» First Strike (Halo)
«§» The Word for World Is Forest
«§» Black Voices
«§» Fool Moon (The Dresden Files, Book 2)
«§» The Bell Jar (P.S.)
«§» Wampeters Foma and Granfalloons (Opinions)
My inventory is here:
http://www.bookmooch.com/m/inventory/psy...Edit: these have all been mooched, and my inventory is down to a very manageable 24 books. Thanks everyone!

I put up a copy recently of The Singing Tree by
Brian Parvin (republished as The White Fox). You can find a cover image by searching via google. This book is not a previous mooch. Plot: "Chalon the dog fox is on the prowl in a dangerous world where survival is everything. A catastrophe has scorched the earth, and few living things are left ... and those who remain are forced to become hunters, or be hunted." It is a fantasy.
If anyone would like a bookcrossing book (I noticed comments on LT that people were always willing to mooch them) then please do mooch one of my copies of
Imzadi (Star Trek: The Next Generation) by Peter David. There is only one bookcrossing book in my inventory; I do not use that site, and am trying to find a copy without those markings, since it is a book I grew up with and want to keep.

Oh boy guys, my pre-moving book cleanout continues.
The Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told Volume 2, an anthology of old-school Batman comics involving Catwoman and the Penguin. - MOOCHED
The Ruby in the Smoke - By Philip Pullman, the creator of His Dark Materials.
Absolute Boyfriend Vol 1 is the start of a romance/comedy manga series by Yuu Watase, one of my favorite artists. - MOOCHED
(I'm also CONSIDERING listing the first
Digimon manga series of 5 books, but only if someone is willing to mooch them all together as a set. (I hate splitting up sets!) Let me know if you're interested.)
Running my 3-for-1 magazine special as always.
Now you can also get 1 magazine free when you mooch any book from my inventory. Points for either will be refunded upon sending.

My mom just cleared off some shelves so I've added some hardcover mysteries from Tony Hillerman, Patricia Cornwall, Mary Higgins Clark, and Sue Grafton to my inventory:
http://www.bookmooch.com/m/inventory/qui...Let me know if you're interested...
Okay, I'm only making two more shipments after my current run of accepted books, so mooch now if you want anything, because I don't know when my whole inventory will be available again once I head off to school.
Today we have:
Digimon volumes 1-5, a complete set of the first story.
Gundam 0079 volume 4.
Fat Burning Foods Cookbook, a cookbook that focuses on foods that actually speed up your metabolism.
Transformers: Devastation, part 4 of the new series by IDW, this comic features some awesome art by Nick Roche and EJ Su.
And, there was a bookmooch listing for it, so I listed it: a copy of Yu-Yu Hakusho: The Poltergeist Report.
I'm also always running my 3-for-1 on magazines.
I dug up a few old Beckett Digimon Collector magazines too, which I have listed with descriptions. If you mooch the digimon series as a set, I'll throw these in for free. :)

At the risk of repeating myself, I've posted a lengthy list of manga (all in Japanese) over in the
Japanese language books thread. Multiple mooches are highly encouraged, and I'll be happy to work out a deal to make it worth your while!
Also: like Haruki Murakami? Want to read him in the original? Of course you do! I've listed the Japanese editions of the following:
A Wild Sheep Chase (2 volumes)
The Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (Vol 1 only)
Also, two quirky and relatively unknown Murakami books that I don't think have been translated into English:
The Elephant Factory's Happy End, a collection of extremely short essays/poems/other writings by Murakami interspersed with cartoonish drawings of everyday objects by artist Mizumaru Anzai. Because the pieces are so short, this might be an interesting book for people who are studying Japanese and want to try reading something a step above manga.
Yume de aimashou is another "essay" collection, by Murakami and Shigesato Itoi (better known to video game buffs as the creator of Earthbound!). It's a series of short pieces, alphabetized by topic (in kana order, that is), alternating between the two authors. The topics are hilariously mundane and esoteric: the first five are Eisenhower, assistant, asparagus, apartment, and arbeit (part-time job), which should start to give you an idea.
My inventory:

I got an extra ARC of
The Day the Falls Stood Still today if anyone is interested. Let me know here of my PM and I'll reserve it for you when I list it on BM later.
I'll be posting new books this week, so let me know if you're interested in any of them and I'll reserve them for you:
20 Fragments of a Ravenous Youth by
Xiaolu GuoBalzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by
Dai SijieHow I Live Now by Meg Rosoff
Two titles from the Rough Guide 25 Ultimate Experiences series
- Ethical Travel (small tear in the back cover)
- Mexico and Central America
And finally there's a copy of
The Coma by
Alex Garland (author of The Beach) already in my inventory.
I bought these at a sale this weekend so they're all new with with some minor shelf wear at most. I will send all of them worldwide via airmail.
# 62 I am interested in the books :o)
Thanks!
#63 I've added and reserved them for you for 30 days. Mooch at your convenience. Thanks!
I just realized that I haven't posted a note to this thread about my current special on multiple mooches...! (You've probably all seen the thread, but here's a link just in case.)
http://www.librarything.com/topic/69409 Best wishes & happy mooching.
I know that people are looking for
