At one time the series feature included total number of books, not just the number of series. Could that be brought back? I don't know if this it doable but would like to see the total number of individual titles under awards. Most books seem to receive more than one award. Are you going to the series page? http://www.librarything.com/series/Discw... If you go to this one, you'll see that 84 books have been listed in this series (it includes Omnibus editions). If you were curious about an award, you go to the Award page and see the total number of titles: http://www.librarything.com/bookaward/Pr... Promethus Award has 62 books and you can see all of the books that have won an award. To get to these pages, you just start from a work that's part of the series or one that's won the award and click on the series/award from CK - it will take you to the main page. If I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for, my apologies. I think the OP is refering to the Common Knowledge section under Statistics/Memes. Sqdancer, You are correct I was referring to the Statistics/Memes pages. Ah - on your statistics/meme page, the total books in the series is an extra click away. Under the heading "Series in your Library," you should see the following: Your books | All books The default only shows your books. If you click on the link to All Books, you'll see the series in your library with full books and green checks next to the ones you own. There never was an option to do the same with the Awards page - many of the awards number over 1,000 books and the NY Times Bestseller honor is currently running over 7,000 books. Tim's mentioned that the memory involved in pulling back those lists because of these numbers would be too intensive for the majority of libraries. So the only way to see the entire list for an award/honor is to simply click on the award/honor title and look at it there (your books will have check marks). ...and green checks next to the ones you own.
Sadly, still waiting for Wishlist collection to drop green check marks in favour of purple ones. Debug test: your member name is: |
