I found an interesting book while browsing the stacks at the public library: Gene Structure and Expression, by Hawkins. But it was published in 1996, which is a long time ago in the world of molecular biology. How can I find out if this book is worth reading, or if it is out of date? Is there anybody in this group who knows the book? Or is there a better forum for this question?
