How could OSC be used for organizing a collection of dissertations and theses that do not have ISBNs? Is there any way of linking to the electronic versions of theses publications?

Why wouldn't dissertations and theses be organized with other things on the same topic?

I seem to remember U of PA filing one copy of a dissertation by subject and the other chronologically in dissertation section (Penniman education Library) -- this was in 1969.
