Might be nice if there was a option to track future releases.

For example:

Add this to your LT shelf with a reminder date set to buy the book when it is published. LT would then either email this or flash it up at your when you accessed the site

Please don't use the New Features group for requests. It quite clearly states in the group description:

"This is a group for LibraryThing to announce and discuss new features and other improvements with members. Unlike every other group, we discourage starting new topics, unless you've actually developed a new feature (with or without our help)."

You may want the Recommended Site Improvements group (RSI). Where you'll find many other posts on the same topic, and the responses as to why it's a bad idea.
