Topic:  Series Editor as a contributor type? 0 / 2 read

Would it be possible (and would it make sense) to add Series Editor to the contributor dropdown list? Regular editor is already on the list but some works have both.

Basically, still trying to figure out how to best deal with Charles Eliot and his Harvard Classics.

Since you can already enter it yourself for your books using the "Other..." box on the dropdown list, I guess whether it should be on the default list is a question of how often it will be needed. Do you think it will be used often enough that typing it individually isn't an adequate solution?

Also, since Harvard Classics are at best only partly a series in LT terms, this isn't really a series question so much as a question about the edit page for book data. As data for individual book records it makes as much sense as any of the others, I guess, but it doesn't really affect the series function one way or the other.
