HBO should be commended for developing this show and Ames proves that his literary work is easily transferrable to the (small) screen. Both Jason Schwartzman and Ted Danson are brilliant in their roles.

If you haven't watched it and have an opportunity you must do so.

hey I haven't read anything of his but I watch the HBO show every week (besides this last one) and it is awesome!!!!!

he has several books publsihed. the book of essays i am reading is easy to digest and some of them are quite funny. he is (at times) embarrassingly honest and self-revealing.

a new season has begun and it is off to a roaring start.

"don't you know everybody is unhappy"

"i think i have the smallest penis in the world"

this show is over the top and pretty funny.
