Good grief! It takes quite awhile just to read the list.
I can see several there which I have read and won't even make the shortlist. This is my favourite award because the shortlist usually has a few books I never heard of.

Now that I look at this list, I feel a bit ashamed, as I realize that the bottom three categories are all American writers. I honestly did not think of that when I put up preferences, but maybe European writing style (if there is such a thing) resonates with me more?
