I need your help...I'm currently stocking up on books regarding Kurds and Kurdistan. I'm interested in everything, culture, politics, coffee table books, novels (written by Kurds, not Karl May), memoirs and travelogues.
Do you have any recommendations?
There was quite an interesting book on the Yazidis (who are, I believe, mostly or all ethnically Kurdish) called The other Kurds: Yazidis in colonial Iraq by Nelida Fuccaro (she's at SOAS now).
My Father's Paradise: A Son's Search for His Jewish Past in Kurdish Iraq is a really interesting and enjoyable book.
