I just started the new Barbara Kingsolver book, The Lacuna. I need to pick up a Kathy Reichs book to read this weekend before her lecture in Scranton on Monday.
I've been on a Frank Lloyd Wright kick. I recently read
The Women: A Novel by T.C. Boyle and
Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. My interest was sparked by a visit to Falling Water and the Guggenheim Museum which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

I was going to talk about
The Hunger Games by
Suzanne Collins. It's set in a post-apocalyptic world where the Capitol rules. There were at one point, 13 districts, but when one district tried to overthrow the capitol, it was destroyed to prove that the capitol holds the upper hand. To continue to prove its strength, the capitol created the Hunger Games. Two teenagers are chosen from each district to compete in the games where they fight to the death, the last teen standing is the winner of the games.
The story centers around Katniss Everdeen. Her little sister is chosen as her districts representative to the games and to protect her Katniss volunteers to go in her place. The other representative from her district is Peeta. Katniss must decide if she can trust Peeta in the games and work with him to survive to the end.
It's a fast paced race to the end of the games and I'm sure you won't be able to put the book down! The sequel came out a few months ago,
Catching Fire. It's going to be a Trilogy. If you love the first two as much as me, you'll be dying for the final installment to come out.
