Hi
A Kinglake colleague who was burnt out on Black Saturday is rebuilding. He's looking for science fiction and fantasy books, but not many of these came in through the bushfire relief donations. Another 3 or 4 families are also looking. Can anyone help please? I'm willing to swap for novels from my other account.

Are there any titles in particular that he wants?

* Lawrence Block
* James M. Cain
* Raymond Chandler
* Leslie Charteris
* G. K. Chesterton
* Agatha Christie
* Arthur Conan Doyle
* James Ellroy
* Loren D. Estleman
* Erle Stanley Gardner (Perry Mason)
* Dashiell Hammett
* Carl Hiaasen
* Patricia Highsmith
* P.D. James
* Ed McBain
* Joyce Carol Oates
* T. Jefferson Parker
* Robert B. Parker
* Bill Pronzini
* Ellery Queen
* Dorothy L. Sayers
* Georges Simenon
* Charles Willeford
* Leigh Brackett, (1915-1978)
* James Lee Burke, (born 1936)
* Ross MacDonald, (1915-1983)
* Ellis Peters, (1913-1995)
In history – anything by Barbara Tuchman or ancient world/medieval history.
In Philosophy – this is hard because I now have copies of classics via Dover books thrift editions – contemporary philosophers (20th century) and metaphysical subjects.
Religion/spirituality – theosophy, runes, occult/esoteric subjects (but serious works, not pop exploitative).
Books on chess (not for kids or beginners).
Literary/classics I replaced what I lost/liked via Dover Thrift editions (recommended)
Other writers – Colin Wilson, Graham Greene, John Mortimer (Rumpole), Hemingway, William Faulkner, Garrison Keilor, William Kotzwinkle, Glendon Swarthout, Harper Lee, Carson McCullers, Salinger (Catcher in the rye), Glendon Swarthout (the shootist), Iain Pears, Gail Godwin, Annie Proux.
Poetry I have replaced essentials thanks to opp-shops and Dover Literature thrift editions. John Masefield, Robert Graves, Emily Dickinson (all their poetry) maybe?

I got a few double-ups that might help. How can we do this?
