I'm not sure whether this exactly fits in with the group description, but I recently read O.R. Melling's The Hunter's Moon which I thought played very nicely off of Irish mythology. It's a young adult fantasy novel where the main characters get embroiled with the Faerie. I usually don't much care for portrayals of the Faerie, but these were convincingly both charming and cruel. I really enjoyed it. Has anyone else read it?
Or can someone suggest a similar read?
