I have been staring at my shelves and I think they are getting nervous. I have several (million) books that I really want to read this year. After the holidays I want to work on my lists. I'm glad to see everyone again this year. 2cal8769Haven't made any lists but I read my first TBR. 1. The Twilight Before Christmas by Christine Feehan It's from the never ending bag of books that my friend loaned me about a year ago. 3cal8769I just started Haunted America by Michael Norman. I haven't had it for too long but it has the markings of a lingerer. Good Luck! 5cal8769Well I didn't finish Haunted America. I'm just not in the mood. 2. The Lover by Marguerite Duras I've had this book on my pile for years! It was for my husband's translated French Literature class in college. 6billiejeanHopefully, the next book will be better. I have a couple of books with several shorter stories in them, and I haven't finished either one yet. I keep thinking it is ok to put it down, because the stories are short. I am hoping that I do finish them both before the year is out. Happy Reading! --BJ | Group: TBR Challenge40 members 1,593 messages AboutThis topic is not marked as primarily about any work, author or other topic. |
