1jiaz1I inputted my gmail information but was automatically redirected to my main page. Does this mean no one in my gcontacts uses librarything? Also, it would nice to know if the transaction between librarything and gmail is secure or not. 2jjmcgaffeyThe Find Friends thing is broken - it has been, for quite a while. It's also not a way of finding who on your list is on LT, but rather for sending invitations to everyone (you can choose who, though) to _come_ to LT. To find who's on LT, go to the Search tab and search for emails or names in the Members and Locations box on the lower right. It will only work if those people have put their emails or real names on their profiles, obviously, or if you know their user names on LT. Tim, might it be a good idea to take Find Friends down, the way you took down the Change Username page? So many people are trying to use it and getting nowhere... 3schimmelIt is definitely broken, but what a nice feature this would be. Is this being worked on, or is there anything we can do to help get it back up and running? I can think of at least 15 people in my gmail contacts who'd pay for librarything were I to invite them, and I'm sure lots of others on here know scads more people than I do. I'm sure it'd be lucrative for this feature to be fixed. 4jjmcgaffeySo go ahead and email them. There's nothing stopping you from a direct invitation - if Find Friends worked it would just be that little tiny bit easier. Personally, I'd rather send a personalized email anyway, rather than a broadcast. | AboutThis topic is not marked as primarily about any work, author or other topic. TouchstonesNo touchstones |
