I absolutely LOVED this series when I was younger. Does anyone else have fond memories?

The books are officially being re-released by Scholastic, so libraries for past memories or future generations can be reformed. :) There are going to be new covers, and possibly some other updates (typos, KASU's).

What's you reaction? I think the world would be a much better place if Animorphs had gotten the attention and fame that Twilight did.

I loved this series, too. Animorphs are the books which first got my brother interested in reading for fun (of course, he 'blackmailed' me by saying he'd only let me read the books to him if I played with him for an equal amount of time... except he wanted me to read to him so often my voice got tired! I gave up reading to him around the thirteenth book, and so he started reading them on his own). I've always wished the series would be sold in sets... I wonder what the new covers will look like?

Yay! This was my favorite series when I was little, started reading them right before fifth grade and they ran until I finished middle school. I was looking for them the other day in a store, because I want to give the first couple to a girl I know, but they weren't on shelves. I guess I'll be seeing them again, though. :)

I hope the new covers aren't too different, I loved the original character-morphs.

This was the series that officially made me and my best friend into geeks. K.A. Applegate is still part of my pantheon, ghostwriters or not. Also loved EverWorld and Remnants.

I'm intrigued to see what the new covers will look like. The old ones I did think were a little goofy, but then again I'm not sure how to make turning into an animal while wearing Spandex look cool.

Yeah, this is awesome. I will probably have to reread the whole series now, Alternamorphs, Megamorphs, and Chronicles and all. :)

I loved this series as a kid. Been wanting to revisit it for a while, so will be watching for the rerelease.

My son is currently reading the Animorphs series. I had the majority of the books left over from my oldest son and have been filling in the missing volumes with BookMooch.

I read the first volume but didn't really care for it much myself, but both my boys think the books are wonderful.

I read some of the books, but was thoroughly creeped out by them. But I am curious to see how they will be repackaged.

I think Scholastic must be re-releasing several old series; I heard that The Babysitters Club is also going to be updated and re-released.
