ACDoyle library has reached the end of the easy stage.

Current results yielded from scouring auction records with easy access, Special Collections at the Univ. of Texas Harry Ransom Center, the Toronto Public Library, and a couple other institutions with only a few books. I've also scraped up the books, and puzzled out the titles referenced in Through the Magic Door, a series of essays ACD wrote about his favorite books while sitting and looking at his own shelves. These are grouped in one collection.

There are likely many more of his books in private collections, and also some in the collection currently at the City of Portsmouth. However, this collection is uncatalogued.

Omitting the Hydes and their 8 Billion copies of Johnson and Boswell, ACD's Legacy Library has the most books in common with CS Lewis at 43 books, with a close second from Carl Sandburg at 42 books.
