I want to start my readings on Chinese Philosophy.
The only reference I have for the moment is A History of Chinese Philosophy, by Fung Yu-Lan.

It is a good book to start with?
I would very much appreciate more useful references.

Thanks!

Here are some textbooks I have from Chinese Philosophy/history courses at a University back in the 1970's {mine are very dusty}

Chinese Religion: An Introduction by thompson
The Chinese Way in religion by Thompson

Sources of Chinese Tradition by De Bary, Wing-Tsit Chan, Burtion Watson

My guess is these will be pretty cheap if you want to buy them at a used bookstore, and upon investigation there might be some newer editions.

I also found the Schwartz book excellent. Good coverage and good reading too.
