Description: The Ryerson University Bookstore started many years ago as a small store, managed part-time by a Faculty member and open only a few hours a day. In 1966 a full-time manager and staff were hired and the store was open five days a week. In 1966 the store moved into a 6000 sq.ft. space on the lower level of Jorgensen Hall. The merchandise selection was expanded and stationery, arts & drafting supplies, gifts, and clothing were added. When the new Ryerson retail/parking complex was built in 1988, the bookstore was moved from Jorgenson Hall to this new building. 11,565 sq.ft were allocated on the north side of the building at Gould & Victoria street to house the bookstore, receiving and offices.

The store carries a wide variety of reference and handbooks in computers, engineering, architecture, interior design, fashion and other subjects. The latter are specifically chosen to complement the subjects taught at Ryerson. During the month of September, a special course/textbook store is opened in the "Snack Stop" on the second floor of Jorgenson Hall.

This store carries new and used textbooks for our many courses. We also carry an extensive range of arts, drafting, and stationery supplies. You can also find the latest in Ryerson clothing (from T-shirts to leather jackets), gifts, school rings, greeting cards, knapsacks and many other items.

We are pleased to accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, certified cheques, traveler cheques, money orders and Interac. Regretfully, we cannot accept any personal or company cheques. Incorporated companies, however, may open charge accounts with the bookstore.
