Description: Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library is a major resource for East Asian studies in University of Toronto Library System and North America. The Library began with a collection of rare materials acquired from China in the 1930's. This special collection is now known as the Mu Collection. More Chinese, Japanese and Korean materials were added later. The library now has over 400,000 volumes. It is a major research collection on East Asian studies in North America.

The Library is very active in many interlibrary co-operative East Asian research projects. A wide array of services are available for students who are interested in East Asian Studies research and writings, or who just want to have a nice place to study and surf wireless Internet.
